Responsible adult agreement.

This agreement is between you, the host who made the booking, and DJW Events London Ltd. You sign it on the booking form by ticking the box and typing your full name. Version 2026-10-07.

1. I'm an adult

I'm 18 or over on the date of the party and I've given my real date of birth. I may be asked for photo ID on the night.

2. I'm responsible for every under-18

I'm the responsible adult for every guest under 18 at my party, for the whole party, from the first arrival to the last person leaving. That includes under-18s I didn't personally invite. If I can't be there for part of it, I'll name another adult (18+) to DJW staff before I leave the room.

3. No alcohol for under-18s

Under-18s will not drink alcohol at my party, full stop. I won't buy drinks for them, pass them drinks or look the other way, and nor will my adult guests. DJW's bar staff and security will refuse, remove drinks and can end the party if this is broken.

4. Wristbands

Every under-18 guest is given a wristband at the door and wears it all night so staff can see at a glance who isn't served alcohol. I'll make sure they keep it on.

5. Supervision

Under-18s are my responsibility all night, wherever they are in the venue. I don't have to follow them around, but I'll make sure there are enough adults at my party keeping an eye on them, that they behave sensibly and that they follow the soft play rules on the signs. Staff can close the soft play or ask a child to come off it at any time.

6. Leaving

Younger children (under 16) leave with an adult. Older teenagers can make their own way home if that's what their parent or guardian has agreed. Once a guest has left the building, DJW Events isn't responsible for them.

7. If something goes wrong

I'll tell a member of staff straight away about any injury, illness, lost child or anyone unwell from drink. DJW staff will call the emergency services if they think it's needed, without waiting for my say-so.

8. Liability

I'm responsible for the behaviour of the under-18s at my party and for any damage they cause, under the private hire terms. Nothing in this agreement limits DJW Events London Ltd's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or anything else that can't be limited by law.
